Yumi, Mela, Uttam London and Uttam Boutique have always sourced globally to bring you good value fashion.
Our founder and owner Uttam Nepal is from Nepal and understands the huge benefits, changes and improvements that investment from European brands can bring to local markets and all decisions on suppliers are taken directly by him with these advantages in mind.
We primarily source our suppliers from India and China. We have local offices in both India and China and all factories supplying Yumi, Mela, Uttam London and Uttam Boutique clothes are regularly visited by Yumi staff.
We are committed to using suppliers who observe all working law practices including:
Minimum Wage Adherence
- Maximum weekly hours of work
- Overtime
- Minimum working age
