We’ve been having a look through the Brit Award nominees and the standard is high this year, we’ve taken a vote and our favourites in the Yumi office are………….

Adele. She swept the board at the Grammys, winning six, we expect her to win big at the Brits too. This Rolling In The Deep video has had over 240 MILLION views!!!

As big Oasis fans, we would like to see Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds take the Best British Male award:

In the International categories, we want Nicki Minaj to take the International Breakthrough award, we love her fun attitude to music and fashion:

And for International Band it’s got to be the Foo Fighters, we love a bit of Dave Grohl at Yumi HQ!

As part of the show, Yumi hit the catwalk with our bright and brilliant Spring/Summer 2012 range, there were stripes, block colours and flattering monochrome shades.

This year saw the return of the more demure dress with black being the key colour, as seen on Christina Hendricks and Meryl Streep:

A trend that shows  no sign of slowing down and our favourite dresses of the night, were the metallic gowns, that added an old Hollywood glamour style to the red carpet. Simply Fabulous!

The Help star Jessica Chastain looked beautiful in this pleated detailed gown from Oscar de la Renta and Christina Ricci looked amazing in this gown from Sybil Connolly:

Rather than the small, medium and large sizes that our garments have previously come in, a majority of the new Yumi collection will be in sizes 8,10,12 and 14, and our Uttam Boutique range will also have a size 16.
